Workplace Ergonomics Risk Assessment (ERA)

Poor workplace ergonomics is claimed as one of the major contributors to the declining of employee’s health. To date, the application of effective ergonomic strategies has only reached a limited number of workplaces, despite its great potential for improving working conditions and
productivity. Effective ergonomic strategies can increase productivity, reduce workplace injuries, and improve workstation design and layout. Therefore, it will be very useful for organizations to carry out an ergonomics risk assessment to identify the risk that arises from the workplace activities that concerns ergonomics. ERA will help organizations to promote comprehensive and practical preventive strategies that improve the working environment. It will also reduce the compensation claims.
